The Malta Sustainable Development Action Days 2026 will take place as part of the European Sustainable Development Week, with activities being held between 18 September and 8 October 2026.
The initiative aims to raise awareness of sustainable development and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) while providing organisations and communities with an opportunity to showcase actions contributing towards a more sustainable future.
The Gozo Confederation for Agriculture and Fisheries (GCAF) encourages farmers, fishers, rural organisations and other stakeholders in Gozo to consider participating. Initiatives may include information sessions, community activities, awareness campaigns or digital actions addressing areas such as sustainable agriculture, water management, climate adaptation, biodiversity, responsible food production and the marine environment.
Selected initiatives will be showcased through the Ministry responsible for the environment’s website, social media channels and related communications.
Deadline for submissions: Friday, 28 August 2026.
GCAF encourages the Gozitan agriculture and fisheries community to use this opportunity to highlight the contribution of our rural and maritime sectors towards a more sustainable Gozo.
